Keeping my spirits high while reliving the death of my career to the pace of our "cheerful" banter, someone chimes in with "There all crooks, like the manager from Auburn."
What?!
That was the store that I was going to work at.
That was going to be my store.
I was going to be the ETL-HR of Auburn T-1096.
I mean that was my plan. Their STL (head store manager) Sean loved me. I mean, come on, he was the one who interviewed me for team lead. A great, moral, and dedicated person to work for.
I guess I was wrong.
According to the Auburn Journal, on the 18th Sean Ryan (Auburn Target's STL) was arrested for embezzling $10,000 over 3 months from the store's safe at night. The best part is he was caught by his own AP (that's basic store security).
All of the sudden getting let go over $50 isn't all that bad. I did not steal like he did, but when I got let go I did not face jail time.
There is always a silver lining. Always.
As a side note, I love how he is in his red & khaki for the mugshot. That means he was arrested at the store, during business hours, while he was working.

your done with target. dont look back. him getting caught doesnt change the fact that you got fired. just let it go. your better off.
I miss the comradery of the people at Target. Mostly people like you, JD, and Marcus.... in my getting the boot, I really feel like I let everyone down, especially Robert....
...but damn it, thanks Blake... THAT made my day, knowing that the reason I got let go paled in comparison to the incident at the Auburn Target.

Sean Ryan...You know what they say about people with two first names...you just can't trust them.
Geez...you all sound pathetic except for the anonymous blogger. He's right, your all a bunch of loser's who got fired from Target. Whether it was stealing $50 or the fact that you couldn't perform your job. What gives you the right to pass judgement? Sean made a stupid mistake, no doubt, but he was/is a good man.
If you would re-read the post, I was not passing judgment. As a matter of fact I did not even mention my thought on his actions, besides me not facing jail time of course (all I did was regurgitate what was in the Auburn Journal article).
Its a shame that people can not really read what is written, many just jump to there own conclusions.
